Build worlds

Tell Stories

We create perfumes for art lovers.

Vitsley Olfactory Studio works across fine art, personal and spatial scent design, brand formulation, and live experience. The practice moves between exhibition and activation, between the singular and the scalable, between the intimate commission and the stadium, with equal care, precision, and boundless imagination. Scent is our primary creative material: equally capable of conjuring a world, anchoring a mood, or establishing an identity beyond the visual or sonic elements. For the curious connoisseurs, collectors, curators, artists, labels, creative directors, and brand architects among us, Vitsley Olfactive Studio speaks an invisible language fluently and builds from it deliberately.

Olfactophone 2 at Airspace Project Gallery, Sydney, 2026

Exhibition in collaboration with Naoko Kusunoki of Your Exclusive perfume studio

A perfume-dialogue between two olfactory artists, continued on from the first showcase in Tokyo in 2025, exploring a scented dialogue to find a Lingua Franca Profumata - an aromatic common language. Using a process of interchange and exchange to create fragrances in iteration whilst exchanging information on the notes and ingredients they use, culminating in a singular common perfume created in-person.

Scented Absence curated by Joyce Mak at The Uncommon (now Art.berdeen) Hong Kong, 2025

Exhibition in collaboration with Naoko Kusunoki of Your Exclusive perfume studio

A completely immersive project presenting scents across an installational configuration of unorthodox media (scented paintings, curtains, paper, smoke, and clay) that smelled as close to Nothing as possible. It was imperative that we created fragrances that did not bring anything to mind – in fact, the more unplaceable and confounding, the better.
